Reels & PostsWhen to choose Stories
Stories are ideal for timely notes, casual updates, quick polls and direct conversations with an established audience. They are less suitable for detailed evergreen reference material.
When to choose Reels
Reels make sense for motion, demonstrations, transitions and short video tutorials. Use a clear opening, readable subtitles when appropriate and framing that works on a phone.
When to choose posts and carousels
A photo post is useful for showcasing a finished result. A carousel is useful when an idea needs multiple logical steps, examples or a before-and-after sequence.
Repurpose responsibly
One project might become a Reel showing the process, a carousel explaining the steps and a Story asking a related question. Adapt the format rather than duplicating every word.
Measure quality
Watch for useful saves, relevant questions and thoughtful interactions rather than focusing only on view counts. A sustainable format is better than a trend you cannot maintain.
