About IGPVSTORY

IGPVSTORY is an independent project built by a small team of web developers and privacy enthusiasts. We were tired of story viewer sites full of pop-ups, fake "private account unlock" buttons and surveys, so we made the tool we wanted to use ourselves.

Our principles

• Public content only. We never try to access private accounts or Close Friends stories.
• No credentials. We will never ask for your Instagram password or link your account.
• Minimal data. No search history and no profiles of our visitors.
• Respect for creators. Fast responses to removal requests through our DMCA process.

How the tool works

IGPVSTORY runs on Cloudflare's global edge network. When you search, our server asks a licensed third-party data provider for the public stories of that username and returns them to your browser. Responses may be cached for a few minutes to stay fast and then expire.

Editorial standards

Our guides are written and tested by the IGPVSTORY Editorial Team. When Instagram changes a feature, we update the affected articles and the "updated" date at the top of each post. If you spot a mistake, tell us.

Independence

IGPVSTORY is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. "Instagram" is a trademark of Meta, used here only to describe what our tool works with.
