Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 November 2026
This policy explains how IGPVSTORY ("we", "us") handles information when you use igpvstory.com.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
The Instagram username you type into a tool is sent to our server and our data provider in order to fetch public content. We do not link it to you or keep a search history. If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply.
Technical information
Like all websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses and request metadata to deliver pages, prevent abuse and enforce rate limits. Rate-limit counters are short-lived.
2. Cookies and local storage
We store your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage. We don't use advertising cookies today. If we add analytics or ads in the future, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
3. Caching of public content
Public results may be cached at the edge for a few minutes to reduce load. Cached data expires automatically and is never used to build profiles.
4. Third parties
We use Cloudflare for hosting and a third-party Instagram data provider to fetch public content. They process data only as needed to provide those services.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your personal data. Contact info@igpvstory.com.
6. Children
IGPVSTORY is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
7. Changes
We will post any changes on this page with a new "last updated" date.
